Alessandro Fusillo

Alessandro Fusillo, born in 1968, graduated with honours from the Sapienza University of Rome and subsequently served as an assistant lecturer in civil procedural law. Qualified to practise law in Italy, Spain, and Germany, and admitted to plead before the Court of Cassation by examination in 2002, he is an expert in civil, criminal, tax, and international law. In 1998, he founded the firm Fusillo, Strizzi & Associati, with offices in Rome, Berlin, and Madrid.

 

President of the Movimento Libertario and author of articles on themes related to anarcho-capitalism, Alessandro Fusillo is a regular speaker at the annual conference of Hans-Hermann Hoppe’s Property and Freedom Society, was a speaker at Anarchapulco in 2016, and maintains extensive connections with libertarian and anarcho-capitalist circles in the United States and Germany. In 2020, he co-authored the book “Coronavirus: Stato di paura” (Tramedoro); he wrote the foreword to “Inflazionismo: Per chi vola la mongolfiera” by Andrea De Marchi (Leonardo Facco Editore), the afterword to “Contro l’egalitarismo” by Murray N. Rothbard (liberilibri), and contributed to “Grazie Dottor Szumski. Le testimonianze dei pazienti” (Tramedoro).

 

Since 2020, Alessandro Fusillo has been active in opposing emergency restrictive measures, collaborating with the Io Apro movement, speaking at numerous public demonstrations (No Paura Day and others), filing formal complaints, and representing numerous clients in collective and individual legal challenges against restrictions on personal liberty. In March 2021, he began releasing legal tutorial videos on the Telegram channel Difendersi ora – Avv. Fusillo. The videos are published on the Luxalibi YouTube channel and on Fusillo’s personal channel, garnering hundreds of thousands of views. The Telegram channel established itself as one of the primary hubs of resistance against the restrictions on personal liberty introduced by the Conte and Draghi governments.

 

In 2022, together with Renate Holzeisen, Riccardo Luzi, Giorgio Contratti, and other colleagues, he founded the Confederazione Legale per i Diritti dell’Uomo (Legal Confederation for Human Rights), of which he serves as vice-president. This legal association is conceived as a think tank of lawyers dedicated to defending fundamental rights (life, liberty, and property) under sustained attack from increasingly aggressive governments and international organisations.

 

Since 2023, Alessandro Fusillo has taken centre stage alongside Silver Nervuti and Andrea Tosatto in a series of live lecture-shows that have met with wide public acclaim, using satire to draw public attention to the most pressing issues afflicting our times. 

 

Fusillo speaks and writes fluent German, English, and Spanish, has a good working knowledge of French and Portuguese, and reads Latin and Ancient Greek.

Domizia Conti plays a key role in supporting the legal practice of Alessandro Fusillo. Since the inception of the firm, Ms Conti has demonstrated outstanding organisational capabilities and contributed significantly to its success. Known for her excellent interpersonal and team-management skills, Domizia is also a pillar of administrative support. Her dedication and professionalism have been instrumental in assisting Fusillo in his advocacy and legal advisory work, as well as in the efficient day-to-day management of the practice. Cavere, agere, respondere are the three core functions of legal practice, but discharging them effectively is impossible without indispensable assistance and operational support.
