AUTUMN-WINTER CAMPAIGN OF THE MINISTRY OF HEALTH

The bureaucrat’s urge to regulate, prescribe and, if it really cannot be helped, recommend is irrepressible. Thus, our country’s ministry of “health” does not want to be caught unprepared for the autumn-winter season of the ubiquitous inoculation campaign with the well-known serums, and has churned out a new circular that can be consulted at this link.
The circular, as is customary, recommends the sacred serum to a great many. Let us cite just one gem: inoculation is recommended for pregnant women, regardless of the month of pregnancy, and for new mothers, heaven forbid any foetus or infant should escape the new molecules whose trial data, let us remember, remain unknown because they are covered by military secrecy, as can be verified at this link.
It is worth reiterating points that are already known, but important.
First, circulars have no binding force whatsoever. They are simple letters addressed to multiple recipients (hence the name “circular”) and are not binding even on the authority that issued them. They are mere pieces of paper.
Second, the circular of 27 September merely recommends, that is to say, advises. In light of what is emerging regarding the adverse, even fatal, effects of the serums (cf. this link, p. 4) which the ministry continues to promote, any sane person ought to answer with a resounding “no thank you”.
Third, unless indispensable, let us stay away from public healthcare. Over these years we have come to know courageous and capable doctors who risked their careers and professional registration to protect their patients. These are the ones we must turn to, not pharmaceutical peddlers.
